The Hit Riddle Story
Hit Riddle was created in early 2009 by a pair of online marketing specialists, Aly Mahan and Matthew Barker. Like chalk and cheese, Aly the born number cruncher and Matt the wordsmith, the two brought their respective skills together to create the Hit Riddle formula: smart analysis, testing and optimization plus quality content equals measurable growth in high value traffic and website performance.
Aly Mahan
With her background in accountancy, including a stint as a financial auditor at the Government Accountability Office in Washington DC, Aly is a professional data analyst and skilled nitpicker. With her eye on the numbers, Aly works out what you need to know about your website: what’s working and what’s not, what opportunities you’re missing out on and how you can implement a testing based optimization program that will bring you more business.
Matthew Barker
In a previous life Matt was the head of marketing and communications at a homelessness charity in the UK and before that he worked as a press officer for a leading British university. Two years ago he decided to satisfy his itchy feet and make the most of his rapidly receding youth with a move to Peru, from where he has been assisting Hit Riddle’s clients in the travel and NGO sectors to achieve greater exposure and grow their businesses.
